Management Service
This is a service to low income residents in need of home
management advice. Home Management Counsellors work with clients
in their homes or in a community group situation and provide
counselling on budgeting, cooking, parenting, nutrition and meal
planning, housekeeping, and balancing home, job, school and the
family.
Well-Baby
Clinic/Breastfeeding Support Drop-In
New mothers of babies age 0 to 3 months experiencing difficulty
with breastfeeding or looking for answers to the many questions
that surround being a new parent. Facilitated by the City of
Ottawa, new parents can meet with a public health nurse and

Babies/Healthy Children
Public Health Nurses or Family Visitors provide information to
pregnant women and parents of young children about pregnancy and
childbirth, community supports, pre and post-natal health, baby
safety and nutrition.

Family Services Ottawa offers a range of counselling services
designed to fit the client's difficulty and needs. These services
will be offered to a person individually, to a couple together, or
to a family in part or in its entirety, and might relate to a recent
crisis or to an ongoing unresolved problem.

opportunity for new Canadians to develop their sewing skills while
learning English. Various times are available. NO childcare is

The Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa (YSB) is a non-profit agency
providing counselling support for youth aged 12 to 20, and their
families. Counselling services are available at Pinecrest-Queensway
